BRONPI is a Spanish company (Bronpi Calefaccion SL) which was founded in 1985 in Lucena, near to Cordoba in southern Spain and has rapidly established itself as a national and international leader in the manufacture of wood-burning fireplaces, ovens, stoves, and inserts, as well as fireplace accessories, barbecues and other fire-related items
Research and Development
The fact that Bronpi is an innovator in the research and product development of heat storing appliances is made clear by their sheer array of quality cast iron stoves, fireplaces, ovens, inserts and accessories. The fully automated and robot controlled production facilities in the Lucena factory reflects Bronpi’s uncompromising attitude towards quality.
All stoves and insets are manufactured and certified to CE standards and, in keeping with the eco-friendly nature of their products, Bronpi has a philosophy of care and respect for the environment which spills over into every area of their activities. Their company ethos of technology, innovation and flexibility has now been brought to the UK market where they are confident that their past successes of adapting their products to the particular needs of each market will win them new friends.
Delivery Mission
BRONPI products are sold in over 26 different countries through a network of distributors capable of offering advice according to the installation requirements of the location.
Flexibility of Design
The Bronpi Portfolio covers a wide range of models and designs including large and small free standing stoves in a range of designs including the OXFORD and the MONZA stoves. Of particular interest to fireplace enthusiasts is the Bronpi range of multifuel inserts that fit into a traditional British Fireplace Setting. Not every household is capable of accommodating a free-standing stove or has an inglenook style fireplace so the diverse nature of the Bronpi product range is particularly suited to the UK market.
Bronpi's BRISTOL insert has been specifically designed to be installed in a standard size UK fire opening and is proving very popular. For larger fireplace situations, the KENIA range of inset wood burners also includes switch operated fans to accelerate heat output when required. The KENIA cassette fire initially looks like a standard mid price cassette but when you compare the contents of the box with the specification of other manufacturers, you will be pleasantly surprised – from the Kenia 70 model upwards, the 4 sided frame, the turbine fans and the duct connectors are included in the price. These components alone will retail at up to £400 pounds from other suppliers.
On a completely different tack, The Monza stove provides low price cooking & heating being both a competent heater and cooking range. Its 9 kW output combines a top oven with thermometer plus two hotplates on the top surface. The 70% efficiency at burning wood makes the top oven perfect for pizza and bread baking whilst a Barbecue grill locates inside the firebox for cooking over wood embers.
